All items purchased have a 5-year warranty except consumables (e.g. removable batteries, projector bulbs).


If you purchased an item online and it becomes faulty within the first 30 days of purchase, you can return it to any CeX store to be tested and refunded or replaced if found to be faulty.

Alternatively, if you are unable to visit a store, you can post the item back to us for either a refund or a replacement. To help us process your return quickly, please include a note with your order number and the reason for the return.

If your item develops a fault after 30 days through normal use, you can either return it in-store or via post.


In the first instance we will either repair or replace your item, failing that you will be refunded to the original price within the first 6 months of purchase. After 6 months any refund will be to the current sales price or the original price (whichever is the lower), to the original payment method.

Please note that any repairs done by a third party will void any warranty with CeX.
